About

Someday Some Days is a collection of observations and artifacts from ordinary days. It brings together field notes, essays, photographs, and other fragments collected along the way—some are small and self-contained while others become something larger. Taken together, they form a record of a life in progress.

Denise

Denise Francisco makes Someday Some Days.

Her work moves between writing, photography, design, and the everyday practice of making things. Here, those interests are allowed to overlap without needing to resolve into a single subject.

Steven

Steve is a service dog in training disguised as a fluffy ball of energy and patience.

He is a constant presence in these pages: sometimes the subject of a photograph or field note, sometimes simply nearby while something else is happening. His training is one of the ongoing threads of Someday Some Days, woven through the ordinary days that make up the collection.

More about Steve’s training and how to support the work behind it can be found on the Support page.
